The application of cemented carbide porous sleeve in oil drilling equipment is mainly reflected in its excellent physical properties and stability in extreme environments.
Cemented carbide porous sleeve is a composite material made of high hardness tungsten and cobalt powder as the main raw material by pressing and sintering at high temperature. Its hardness can reach Mohs hardness of more than 90, far beyond traditional materials such as steel, with extremely high hardness, strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance 1. In the process of petroleum exploration, exploitation and production, cemented carbide porous sleeves are widely used in various mechanical equipment, such as drill bits, drill collars, drill pipes, etc. These parts are subjected to extreme high pressure, high temperature and strong abrasion.
Physical Characteristics of Tungsten Carbide porous Sleeves:
