The main features of carbide wire wheels include high hardness, high wear resistance, excellent thermal stability and high temperature deformation resistance, good thermal shock resistance and excellent corrosion resistance to chemicals. Specifically:
High hardness: The hardness of carbide wire wheels is very high, usually between 86~93HRA, equivalent to 69~81HRC. This high hardness enables the wire wheels to maintain high cutting speeds and wear resistance during use.
High wear resistance: The wear resistance of carbide wire wheels is very good, and they can maintain their performance during long-term use and reduce damage to the wire. Its surface roughness reaches Ra0.025 or more, which further reduces the probability of damage to the wire.
Excellent thermal stability and high temperature deformation resistance: Carbide wire wheels can still maintain high hardness at high temperatures, usually maintaining a hardness of 60HRC at 900~1000ºC, which makes them perform well in high temperature environments.
Good thermal shock resistance: Carbide wire pulleys have good thermal shock resistance and can quickly change between high and low temperatures without cracking or deformation.
Excellent corrosion resistance against chemicals: Carbide wire pulleys also have good corrosion resistance and can maintain their performance in a variety of chemical environments.
These characteristics make carbide wire pulleys perform well in various wire processing, especially in the production of wires, cables, wire ropes, etc., which can significantly improve production efficiency and product quality.
